Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of fermentation specialists in the development and optimization of probiotic production processes.
  • Design and implement experiments to improve fermentation yields, productivity, and product quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of research, laboratory, and production activities.
  • Develop and implement strategies for media optimization, ensuring optimal growth and productivity of microbial strains.
  • Conduct strain screening and evaluation to identify and select high-performing probiotic strains.
Requirements:
  • MS or PhD in Biochemical Engineering, Fermentation Sciences, Fermentation Biotechnology, Microbiology, or related fields.
  • Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • 5-7 years of hands-on experience with bacteria fermentation process development and optimization in an industrial setting.
  • Proven track record of leading a technical team and demonstrating results of people leadership and mentorship capabilities.
