Key Responsibilities
- Client Management: Facilitate the onboarding of new clients within our financial systems.
- Transaction Management: Execute daily financial activities, including the verification, categorization, and documentation of accounts receivable information.
- Account Oversight: Comprehend customer accounts and cost allocations; address discrepancies related to purchase orders, invoices, and payments.
- Reconciliation and Compliance: Investigate and resolve discrepancies by reconciling customer accounts and financial statements.
- End-of-Month Procedures: Support month-end closing tasks and safeguard confidential data.
- Payment Processing: Guarantee the prompt and precise handling of account payments.
- Professional Communication: Engage with clients in a timely and professional manner, and provide support for various office functions as needed.
General Requirements
- Education: High School diploma required; a degree in a related field is preferred.
- Experience: 3-5 years in an Accounts Receivable role or a similar position, ideally within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
Essential Skills:
- Understanding of accounts receivable processes, general accounting principles, and applicable accounting standards.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to adhere to written instructions.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
