Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor II to join our team at Liberty Military Housing. As a key member of our facilities operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our residential communities, ensuring that our residents receive exceptional service and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and direct a team of maintenance staff, including service technicians, groundskeepers, and housekeeping personnel.
    • Provide guidance and training to ensure that team members have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Maintenance and Repair
    • Oversee the maintenance and repair of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems, plumbing, and other facilities-related equipment.
    • Perform general and specialized maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Budgeting and Scheduling
    • Manage the budget for maintenance and repair activities, ensuring that expenses are within budgetary guidelines.
    • Schedule and coordinate maintenance and repair activities, including vendor and contractor work.
  • Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that all maintenance and repair activities are performed in accordance with company quality standards and safety protocols.
    • Conduct regular safety inspections of the property and correct any unsafe practices or situations.
Requirements
  • Experience
    • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in maintenance and repair, with 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Proven ability to effectively supervise and lead a team.
    • HVAC and EPA certifications preferred.
    • Advance level of understanding and experience in basic trades, including electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, painting, carpet care, and appliance repair.
    • Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills.
    • Outstanding customer service skills.
    • Basic computer skills, including the ability to operate a mobile device and PC.
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to independently lift and carry supplies or equipment up to 65 pounds.
    • Frequent reaching, stooping, bending, and kneeling.
    • Extensive walking and standing, with the ability to climb up and down stairs and ladders.
