About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. As a PACU Recovery Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a smooth recovery for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialized plan-of-care intervention to patients in the PACU
  • Utilize critical thinking skills to make decisions and take appropriate action in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A current state RN license or a current multistate compact license
  • An associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification or obtain within 90 days after hire date
  • Current American Heart Association ACLS certification or obtain within 6 months after hire date
  • Current American Heart Association PALS certification or obtain within 6 months after hire date
