Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Voice & Choice Advocate to join our team at Traffick911. As a key member of our Voice & Choice Program Team, you will work closely with child sex trafficking survivors, their families, and our multi-disciplinary team partners to provide trust-based advocacy, emotional support, and case management services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advocacy, emotional support, and case management services to child sex trafficking survivors and their families.
  • Collaborate with survivors to plan, implement, monitor, and amend individualized services that promote their strengths, safety, and well-being.
  • Travel throughout the eight local service counties for on-site client meetings, transporting survivors to various meetings and appointments as needed.
  • Assist survivors and their families in navigating the legal process of investigation and prosecution of traffickers.
  • Connect survivors with trauma-informed services, including residential, drug, and alcohol treatment, counseling, therapy, support groups, and more.
Requirements
  • Spanish speaking required.
  • Must live within 40 miles of Downtown Dallas.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, intense, high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, timely, and consistently with multiple partners.
  • Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
  • Demonstrated ability to calmly and effectively handle multiple crises.
  • Commitment to client empowerment through strength-based and trust-based principles.
  • Broad knowledge and experience in working with traumatized populations.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and valid car insurance.
