Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President, Advancement to join our team at Traffick911. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the fight against sex trafficking and to be part of a dynamic and dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive advancement strategy to drive significant revenue through a diversified fundraising portfolio.
  • Lead and motivate the development/fundraising team, crafting specific and measurable goals for marketing, communications, appeals, campaigns, grant writing and grant reporting, fundraising events, financial support from individuals, corporations, churches, acquisition of new donors and stakeholders, volunteers and community awareness events, and donor stewardship.
  • Build trust-based relationships with the programs team to authentically communicate about Traffick911's impact.
  • Participate in quarterly board meetings, reporting on revenue and engaging the board in fundraising opportunities.
  • Oversee the execution of the donor stewardship communication plan.
  • Develop and manage the annual fundraising budget (revenue and expenses), reviewing and reporting monthly.
  • Regularly analyze fundraising data and maintain data integrity across organization systems.
  • Stay up to date with the latest sex trafficking news, events, and best practices in the field as it relates to ethically communicating on the topic of sex trafficking and act as a subject matter expert in this area.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of seven years of fundraising leadership and supervisory experience.
  • Proven track record of fundraising success, particularly by securing major gifts, successfully managing campaigns, engaging a community of motivated supporters.
  • Experience in public speaking.
  • Experience working within donor databases/CRM.

Work Environment

About Traffick911

Traffick911 exists with the sole purpose of freeing youth from sex trafficking by building trust-based relationships. This is accomplished by a 24/7 crisis response and the Voice & Choice Program Team walking alongside child sex trafficking victims and with Multi-Disciplinary Team partners. Traffick911 was founded in 2009 by a community activist who discovered that child sex trafficking was happening in North Texas. Over its history, the organization's abolition efforts include training over 82,000 youth and adults face-to-face with prevention and awareness messages, training over 18,000 first responders, and directly serving over 1,000 survivors.
