Job Description

The Orthopaedic Scheduling Manager is a critical role within our Orthopaedic Associates of Wisconsin team, responsible for coordinating and managing patient appointments, surgeries, and other medical procedures. This position requires strong leadership and organizational skills to ensure efficient scheduling and optimal patient flow.

We are seeking an experienced Orthopaedic Scheduling Manager who can effectively lead a team of scheduling coordinators and manage patient flow. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of scheduling coordinators to ensure efficient scheduling and optimal patient flow.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve patient satisfaction and reduce wait times.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure effective time management and minimize patient wait times.
  • Manage patient demographics and insurance information in the EHR system.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a medical scheduling or administrative role in a healthcare setting.
  • Leadership experience and strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in using EHR systems, such as EPIC, and other medical scheduling software.

Salary

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
