About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team at Jobot. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in our fast-paced and growing organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all daily accounting operations, including financial planning, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts, and report variances.
  • Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
  • Conduct regular financial analysis of company performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
  • Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit.
  • Collaborate with the management team to support overall department goals and objectives.
  • Guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or a related field with a focus on financial analysis, financial reporting, forecasting, accounting, financial planning, and internal controls.
  • Proven working experience as an Accounting Manager or Finance Manager.
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Experience with creating financial statements and general ledger functions.
  • Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity.
  • Ability to execute and follow-through to completion and documentation.
  • Proven ability to manage, guide, and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.
