MQ Series Admin Job Description

At Syntricate Technologies, we are seeking an experienced MQ Series Admin to join our team. As an MQ Series Admin, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the messaging infrastructure within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, and troubleshoot IBM MQ and related middleware.
  • High Availability and Reliability: Ensure high availability and reliability of the MQ services.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support and input into the design of MQ-related projects.
  • Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor MQ systems to ensure secure and efficient operation, and implement and maintain MQ queue managers and other related software.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other IT teams for infrastructure design and service management.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience as an MQ Admin in a large enterprise environment.
  • Technical Skills: Experience working with Windows, Z/OS, Linux, and knowledge of server hardware, networking, and programming skills for integrating MQ with other applications.
