Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced MQ Series Administrator to join our team at Syntricate Technologies. As an MQ Series Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the messaging infrastructure within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, and troubleshoot IBM MQ and related middleware to ensure high availability and reliability of the MQ services.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support and input into the design of MQ-related projects, collaborating with other IT teams for infrastructure design and service management.
- Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor MQ systems to ensure secure and efficient operation, implementing and maintaining MQ queue managers and other related software.
- Global Systems Development: Develop and manage systems on a global scale, particularly in environments that require uninterrupted service.
- Technical Expertise: Possess experience with Linux/Unix systems, knowledge of server hardware, networking, and possibly programming skills for integrating MQ with other applications.
Requirements:
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience as an MQ Admin in a large enterprise environment.
- Technical Skills: Experience working with Windows, Z/OS, Linux.
