Job Title: Activities Director

Join our team at Clairmont Place Condominium Association as an Activities Director, where you will play a vital role in creating a vibrant and engaging community for our residents.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Activities Director to lead our activities program, which focuses on person-directed care and empowerment. As an Activities Director, you will be responsible for creating a monthly calendar of activities that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and lead group activities, including devotions, daily exercise, outings, trivia, and art classes.
  • Collaborate with residents to develop individualized activity plans that promote socialization, intellectual stimulation, and relaxation.
  • Coordinate with staff and volunteers to provide individual and two-person activities, such as games, scrapbooking, gardening, and reading.
  • Encourage residents to participate in religious activities and celebrations of their choice.
  • Keep attendance records and document progress notes for group and individual activities.
  • Evaluate each resident's behavior during activities and report unusual observations to the Clinical Director.
  • Comply with safety regulations and policies to ensure the safety of residents attending group or individual activities.
  • Recruit, orient, and train volunteers, and act as a liaison between volunteers and staff.
  • Perform other duties as required to meet Department goals or as directed by the Executive Director.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience as an Activities Director or a licensed Activities Director with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
  • A heart for elders and a passion for creating engaging and meaningful activities.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen, GCHEX background screen, and be vaccinated against Covid.
