Position: Paralegal, Construction Defect

Support Model: 4 to 1

Pay Rate: $55,000 - $68,000

Work Week: 8:30am – 5pm (37.5 hour work week)

Onsite Logistics: 3 days a week onsite

Hiring Manager: Office Administrator

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and track various legal matters, ensuring timely completion and accuracy.
  • Prepare and finalize legal documents for e-Filing and filing via PACER, adhering to firm guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with third parties, including client representatives, other companies, and institutions, on behalf of attorneys.
  • Develop and implement systems to manage client workflow, tasks, and documentation, ensuring efficiency and organization.
  • Prepare and finalize various documents, maintaining accurate records within the firm's file management system.
  • Organize and coordinate conference calls and client meetings, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration.
  • Prepare new client matter requests, coordinate approval, conflict search processes, and new matter letters, ensuring seamless onboarding.
  • Review and edit bills and related reports according to client billing arrangements, facilitating prompt responses to client inquiries.
  • Maintain a multitude of open client matters in Serengeti, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Maintain electronic and paper files, adhering to Firm and client service team guidelines.
  • Maintain and monitor attorney calendars, ensuring timely scheduling and coordination.
  • Coordinate and/or book travel arrangements, ensuring efficient and cost-effective travel management.
  • Prepare, track, and maintain attorney expenses in Chrome River, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
