About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney to join our team in St. Petersburg, FL. As a key member of our insurance defense team, you will be responsible for handling complex insurance defense cases and providing exceptional representation to our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Defend insurance companies in civil litigation cases, including jury trials and appeals
  • Conduct thorough investigations and gather evidence to support our clients' positions
  • Develop and implement effective defense strategies to achieve favorable outcomes
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure seamless case management
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in Florida law and regulations to provide expert guidance to our clients
Requirements
  • Active license to practice law in Florida and a member in good standing with the Florida Bar
  • 3+ years of legal experience, preferably in insurance defense or civil litigation
  • Strong knowledge of Florida civil procedure, evidence, and trial strategy
  • Excellent written and oral advocacy skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
