PART-TIME CUSTODIAL POSITION | GANA-A'YOO SERVICES CORPORATION
POSITION SUMMARY
Gana-A'Yoo Services Corporation is in search of a part-time Custodial Support Staff member to enhance our team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our facilities. The selected candidate will undertake significant cleaning responsibilities, including floor maintenance, carpet cleaning, wall washing, and waste disposal.
WORK SCHEDULE: Expect to work approximately 8-12 hours weekly. We offer flexible scheduling options, with tasks to be completed during weekdays, specifically from Tuesday to Thursday, between 8 AM and 5 PM. You may choose to complete your hours in a single day or spread them across multiple days.
COMPENSATION: The hourly wage for this role is $17.20, complemented by a Health and Welfare fringe of $4.41 (per hours worked), resulting in a combined pay rate of $21.61 per hour. Additional benefits include paid vacation after one year of service and paid sick leave.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain cleanliness of building floors through sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
- Collect and dispose of trash efficiently.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaning solutions and tools.
- Service and maintain restrooms, ensuring they are clean and well-stocked.
- Dust and clean furniture, walls, machinery, and equipment.
- Polish furniture and fixtures to maintain a professional appearance.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma or GED is required.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- Must be capable of lifting heavy items, up to 50 pounds.
- Physical capability to push, pull, bend, stoop, or stand for extended periods.
- Previous experience in janitorial services is preferred.
