Maintenance Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the efficient and safe functioning of our facility operations. This role will be responsible for leading a team of maintenance personnel, managing budgets, and implementing preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of maintenance activities for the facility and production equipment.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures for maintenance and safety.
• Manage the department budget and ensure efficient use of resources.
• Identify and source spare parts to maintain proper inventory levels.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to prevent equipment failures and unplanned downtime.
• Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues.
• Interface with plant management, supervisors, and contractors to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with the supervision of the activities on the shop floor to assist with smooth operation.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and protocols.
• Lead and motivate a team of maintenance personnel. Serve as the example of professionalism.
• Utilize computerized maintenance programs (CMMS) to track maintenance activities and inventory.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation.
• Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices.

Qualification Requirements:

• Preventative maintenance experience
• High School Diploma and 10 years of plant maintenance experience with increasing leadership responsibilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams)
• Ability to use automated building and equipment controls.
• Preferred:
• Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or Architecture

Experience: 5-7 years of experience in facilities maintenance management
