Job Description

As a Community Banking Specialist at New Tripoli Bank, you will play a vital role in promoting a positive image of the bank through exceptional customer service. Your primary responsibility will be to develop relationships with business and personal customers, completing a variety of transactions efficiently and effectively. You will be the first point of contact for customer questions and inquiries, and through relationship building, you will promote and refer appropriate bank products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process deposits and withdrawals of various account types.
  • Cash checks within approved authority and operating policy.
  • Prepare and process wire transaction requests.
  • Sell Cashiers Checks, Money Orders, Certified Checks, etc.
  • Accept loan payments, safe deposit box rent, and other related payments.
  • Process night drop and mail deposits.
  • Provide outstanding customer service while remaining professional.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, promoting bank products and services.
  • Maintain an organized workstation to ensure accurate and timely cashbox balancing and end-of-day routines.
  • Prepare and scan daily work.
  • Process general ledger accounts related to the paying and receiving function.
  • Collect customer information for BSA reporting purposes.
  • Process coin counting services for customers.
  • Cross-sell deposit, loan, and internet banking, merchant services, and other products to customers.
  • Settle and process ATM transactions daily.

Requirements:

  • Ability to perform duties at any branch location.
  • Adherence to current laws and organizational policies and procedures.
  • Cooperation with and participation in risk management and overall safety and soundness initiatives.
  • Reporting of pertinent information to the immediate supervisor as requested.
  • Response to customer inquiries and requests within given time frames and within established policy.
