Cardiac Rehab Nurse Job Description

At Catholic Health Initiatives, we are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and promoting overall well-being. As a Cardiac Rehab Nurse, you will play a vital role in our team, working closely with patients to help them recover from cardiac conditions and achieve optimal health.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality patient care through assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Supervise and prescribe exercise programs for patients in Cardiac Phase I, II, and III programs.
  • Serve as a clinical lead for care and treatment of medical emergency situations within the cardiopulmonary department.
  • Exercise independent judgment and decision-making within the scope of practice.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing or Diploma from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license applicable to the State of Texas.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or obtained within 90 days of hire date.
  • ECG/EKG interpretation skills.
