As a Cath Lab Technologist III, you will be responsible for:

  • Supervising the room staff's performance and coordinating the room's schedule
  • Communicating with the Cath Lab management team to ensure efficient utilization of resources
  • Performing duties of circulating, scrub, and monitoring of invasive cardiology procedures
  • Demonstrating an understanding of all invasive procedures, equipment, and supplies
  • Exhibiting strong organization skills, including interaction and time management, independent problem solving, and conflict resolution
  • Ensuring a professional and patient-oriented departmental atmosphere
  • Managing staff and room activities to maximize productivity
  • Coordinating staffing assignments and collaborating with other departments
  • Operating radiographic equipment and physiologic recorder/database systems
  • Developing cines and troubleshooting equipment
  • Anticipating physician needs and assisting with procedures
  • Providing support for EP, interventional, and scrub assist procedures
  • Training and educating new employees
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Associate's Degree (preferred)
  • Minimum five (5) years of clinical experience in a hospital setting
  • Registration as a Radiologic Technologist, Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, or Cardiovascular Technologist
  • CPR/BLS certification
  • Documented expertise in specialty training areas and skills checklist
Pay Range

The hourly pay range for this position is $42.08.
