Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Powers Health. As a Medical Assistant - Rheumatology Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team in a fast-paced clinic setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Providers with patient visits and procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for patients.
  • Perform front desk duties, including telephone work, patient scheduling, and ordering supplies.
  • Collect and process specimens, such as blood and urine samples, as needed.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff to improve patient flow and care.

Requirements:
  • High School graduate or equivalent required.
  • Successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or active current certification as a Registered Medical Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant required.
  • Six months previous experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.
  • Must maintain current CPR certification and TB certification (if required).
