Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at UNC Health Care. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for conducting CT scans and analyzing patient data to provide accurate diagnostic information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct CT scans and procedures using Computerized Tomography (CT) equipment
  • Verify patient identification and document pregnancy status for patients of childbearing age
  • Obtain and manipulate images according to protocols, perform multi-planar and 3D reconstruction of image data
  • Administer oral and IV contrast according to protocols, follow safe and proper injection procedures
  • Transmit images to QC, UNCH's EMR, EPIC, and PACS, verify and segment images at the QC station
  • Precept new employees and students
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited educational program in Radiological Science or completion within 3 months at time of application
  • Prior education, training, and experience that provides the ability to perform the assigned tasks
