Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and Maintain Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including financiers, portfolio managers, and members to identify ideal debt and equity partner transactions.
  • Capital Markets Strategy: Work alongside portfolio managers and members to identify and execute strategic capital markets initiatives, including sourcing financing relationships and maintaining relationships with existing financiers.
  • Marketing and Business Development: Maintain a pipeline of active and prospective capital markets participants and create marketing materials for secondary market transactions.
  • Covenant Compliance: Maintain covenant compliance across all financing facilities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Financial Modeling and Analysis: Assist with financial modeling of commercial real estate transactions and utilize market data and comps to inform investment decisions.
  • Proposal Development: Develop and structure financing proposals for presentation to the Credit committee and potential debt and equity partners.
  • Securitization Efforts: Assist in securitization efforts, including preparing offering memoranda, collateral data tapes, and data rooms.
  • Investment Portfolio Analysis: Support the firm's existing investment asset management functions by analyzing performance, credit, and market conditions across the seasoned loan portfolio.
  • Client Communication: Interact and communicate with borrowers to address sensitive and non-routine matters, including risk-related items.
  • Business Development and Fund Marketing: Assist in business development and fund marketing, with significant external exposure to existing investors, prospective equity partners, and clients.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Commercial Real Estate Capital Markets, Banking, and/or Brokerage.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience with Financial Modeling and Risk Analysis.
  • Microsoft Office proficient (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Great interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Highly organized.
