About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Member Service Representative to join our team at Trinity Health. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service to our Medicare Advantage plan members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to consumer inquiries regarding product plan benefits, services, and organizational determinations in accordance with Medicare Advantage plan rules and regulations.
  • Implement retention strategies to maintain current membership and improve the quality of care and service.
  • Exhibit the Mount Carmel Service Excellence Behavior Standards, demonstrating friendliness, courtesy, and effective communication.
  • Promote a Culture of Safety by adhering to policies, procedures, and plans that prevent workplace injury, violence, or adverse outcomes.
  • Engage with consumers to effectively meet or exceed individual and team service performance goals in a manner that is compliant with all Federal, State, and governing requirements.
Requirements
  • Minimum of high school education with some college-level studies preferred.
  • Customer service experience, knowledge of governmental agencies and regulations, especially Medicare and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), desired.
  • Effective communication skills, consumer retention, and strategic thinking.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and effective organizing of multi-tasks in a high-volume, fast-paced team environment.
  • Knowledge of managed care benefit plans and products.
  • PC proficiency, including word-processing, data entry, Microsoft Office, and various software.
