Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Supervisor to join our team at Charter Communications. As a Construction Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction efforts of our in-house construction teams and contract labor. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of in-house construction teams and contract labor.
  • Plan and organize construction efforts to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Monitor and control costs, ensuring that projects are completed within budget.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Develop and implement safety protocols to minimize risk and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with engineers and developers to design and implement construction projects.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Perform site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on project progress and status.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in OSP construction work in the Telecom field.
  • CDL license and experience managing in CDL environment.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities.
  • Ability to supervise and motivate others.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to use personal computer and software applications.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of company products and services.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project supervision in HFC/FTTH construction.
  • Supervisory or leadership experience.
Working Conditions

This role requires working in an office and field environment, with exposure to dust, dirt, noise, insects, rodents, pets, and cleaning solutions. You will also work outdoors in all kinds of weather and at all times of the day or night. You will be required to work near power lines and electricity, and at various heights above ground on telephone/power poles.

This role also requires travel with in-house crews, and you will be required to work and travel in inclement weather.
