Senior Commissioning Authority

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Commissioning Authority to join our team at Stantec. As a key member of our Buildings practice, you will play a critical role in guiding the technical design of projects and ensuring that our clients' needs and expectations are met.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the technical project process and scope of work within your discipline, reviewing schedules and budgeted hours to ensure consistency.
- Delegate tasks to project engineers and designers within your discipline as appropriate, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standard.
- Follow our quality management process, conducting project reviews and approvals before all QA/QC reviews are done by the technical authority.
- Maintain strong client relations, able to understand and articulate project and design requirements, progress, and troubleshooting to clients and technical staff.
- Coordinate well with all disciplines to fully integrate work and client requests into design.
- Act as a supervisor and resource to the technical design team, supporting and assisting staff education and development.
- Participate in the engineering/professional community to build personal knowledge and professional growth.
- Accredited engineering degree or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum 10 years related industry experience or 5 years as Stantec employee (internship counts as 1⁄2 year).
- Professional certification in Commissioning (e.g. CCP, BCxP, QCxP, etc.)
