Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage the housekeeping department to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to meet the needs of our residents and staff.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure that our facilities meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Train and develop housekeeping staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that our facilities are well-maintained and that our residents receive excellent service.
  • Monitor and control inventory and supplies to ensure that we have the necessary resources to maintain our facilities.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • General knowledge of good housekeeping practices and laundry requirements within a skilled nursing facility.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
