Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze plant performance to identify areas for process improvements, resulting in enhanced efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality standards, maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Supervise, train, and evaluate plant personnel to maintain a skilled and efficient workforce, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Schedule and assign tasks to plant staff, ensuring optimal staffing levels and productivity, while managing the procurement of raw materials and supplies necessary for asphalt production.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure the reliable operation of all plant equipment, maintaining an inventory of necessary parts and supplies.
  • Ensure that all asphalt products meet the required specifications and quality standards, conducting regular inspections and tests of materials and finished products.
  • Enforce all safety policies and procedures, providing regular reports on plant performance and financial status to senior management.
  • Assist in the preparation and management of the plant's budget, monitoring and controlling operational costs to meet financial targets.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in asphalt plant operations, preferably in a management capacity.
  • Strong working knowledge of asphalt plant operations, equipment, and controls.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and strong computer skills.
