Position Overview

The Engineering Technology Specialist is responsible for executing technological, process, and engineering tasks while overseeing the organizational aspects of manufacturing operations. This role ensures optimal usage of raw materials and the successful integration of innovative technologies and materials into production processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and prepare comprehensive documentation for production and technological processes.
  • Oversee product specification updates and modifications.
  • Create detailed technological process designs and part drawings utilizing AutoCAD software.
  • Generate technical documentation for tools, spare parts, and subassemblies, including operational instructions and procedures in compliance with company standards.
  • Prepare technical documentation for the refurbishment of stamping tools.
  • Collaborate with Tooling and Chemical departments to enhance production efficiency and minimize raw material usage.
  • Monitor the performance of spare parts, ceramic tools, and various nozzles.
  • Ensure adherence to raw material consumption rates as per technological process standards.
  • Engage with the R&D department to facilitate the introduction of new raw materials, tools, technologies, and chemicals.
  • Supervise and refresh technical and process documentation for machinery and equipment.
  • Plan and oversee the execution of reviews related to raw materials and technology.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving operational faults and failures.
  • Maintain the technical integrity of production lines and ensure process completion.
  • Control and monitor technological processes, including water and wastewater parameters.
  • Analyze and statistically control raw material consumption across various categories.
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding new material implementations and quality concerns.
  • Collect and analyze statistical data from Chemical and Toolroom sections to maintain consumption at optimal levels.
  • Oversee the metal forming process, focusing on tool wear and damage analysis.
  • Manage the varnishing process, including heat and UV-curing, ensuring efficient consumption.
  • Control water treatment processes and monitor chemical consumption levels.
  • Implement tasks in alignment with WCM, ISO, and HACCP standards.
  • Perform additional duties as required that align with the role.
  • Lead compliance efforts for BPANI and PFAS regulations.
  • Support the Maintenance Department by reporting technological issues related to production.
  • Contribute as a member of the HARA team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Experience in lean manufacturing principles, including Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on leadership and facilitation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
