We are seeking a highly skilled Public Information Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for creating and disseminating accurate and timely information to the public through various channels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to engage with the community
  • Create high-quality content for social media, print, and online platforms
  • Serve as a liaison between the city government and the public, providing clear and concise information on city programs, services, and initiatives

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 4 years of experience in public relations, communications, or a related field. They will be able to demonstrate excellent writing, editing, and interpersonal skills, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

The salary range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off and holidays.
