As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading logistics projects that drive improvements in our supply chain processes, implement vendor partnerships, and enhance logistics efficiency for IT hardware.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute diverse supplier strategies to drive cost savings and improve logistics efficiency
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create and leverage sourcing strategies, savings, and performance standards globally
- Lead negotiations with partners, manage RFx's, and revolutionize how IT hardware is sourced at Amazon
- Scrutinize supplier pricing structures, quotes, and resolve anomalies
- Manage day-to-day supplier operational challenges, meet project deadlines, and support ITS requirements
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics, or related field
- 6+ years of supply chain experience
- 3+ years of developing diverse supplier strategies and executing on sourcing activities experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience in complex problem-solving and working in a tight schedule environment
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level
- Master's degree or MBA in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics, or related field
- Experience in program or project management
