This role is critical in ensuring the integrity and reliability of our data assets, supporting our commitment to informed decision-making and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review large datasets for accuracy and consistency, identifying and resolving data quality issues proactively.
  • Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and concerns, providing timely updates on data quality metrics and issues.
  • Assist in the establishment, modification, and documentation of data stewardship strategies and initiatives to enhance data governance practices.
  • Utilize user feedback, concerns, and questions to evaluate and identify data-related issues, coordinating and implementing corrections regularly.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, analysis, and reporting to support various business needs.
  • Quickly grasp training concepts and apply them to improve data management practices within the organization.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leverage good global geographic knowledge to enhance data analysis and reporting capabilities.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently while also being an effective team player.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Data Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • Proven experience in trade operations/settlement within an investment banking context.
  • Strong experience in data stewardship or related roles.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent command over English communication (both written and spoken).
  • Logical reasoning and critical thinking abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills with a focus on decision-making.
  • Proficient in SQL for data analysis purposes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management.
