Job Title: CRNA | Part-Time Anesthesia Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team at Singing River Health System. As a CRNA, you will provide anesthesia services to patients under the direction of a licensed physician and nursing service protocol.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer and monitor anesthesia to patients prior to, during, and after procedures
  • Carry out established policies and procedures, and recommend changes to the System Chief CRNA
  • Work collaboratively with medical staff, nursing services, and other departments to coordinate patient needs
  • Maintain a position of trust relative to the disclosure of information
  • Function under emergency conditions, including responding to 24-hour call on a rotation basis
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an anesthesia educational program accredited by the America Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA)
  • Insurable by an appropriate medical malpractice insurer for the limits required by Singing River Health System
  • Current Registered Nurse/Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license in the state of Mississippi
  • BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
  • Minimum of two (2) years' appropriate anesthesia practice and experience
Working Conditions:

Work involves standing, turning, bending, stooping, lifting, climbing, and using many physical motions in performing day-to-day activities. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and do a great deal of walking without experiencing undue fatigue. May be exposed to communicable disease or radiation.

Work requires a minimum standard of visual acuity, with or without correction, with the ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus. Must demonstrate the ability to communicate, speak, and enunciate to express/exchange ideas and detailed information in person and on the telephone.

Must demonstrate keen mental faculties/assessment and decision making abilities. Must demonstrate superior communication/speaking/enunciation skills, as well as, strong written and verbal communication. Must possess emotional stability conductive to dealing with high stress levels. Must demonstrate ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in complex situations is required. Must have strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
