**Job Summary**
The Staff Pharmacist will be responsible for interpreting, filling, and dispensing medications, IVs, and other pharmaceutical supplies following standard procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of pharmaceutical expertise and be able to work with patients of all ages. The role requires maintaining and inspecting an adequate stock of medications and IV solutions, ensuring proper storage and security of drugs and IV solutions in the Pharmacy. The Staff Pharmacist will also be responsible for making inspections of all areas in the hospital where drugs are stored to ensure proper storage and security are maintained.

**Requirements**
Graduation from an accredited School of Pharmacy is required. The candidate must be licensed by the Mississippi State Board of Pharmacy. Hospital pharmacy experience is desirable but not required. The candidate must have completed licensing requirements of the State Board of Pharmacy in Mississippi.

**Physical Demands**
The Staff Pharmacist will be required to stand, bend, turn, stoop, lift, climb, and use many physical motions in performing day-to-day activities. Finger dexterity, eye-hand coordination, visual acuity, and color discrimination are required.
