About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Scientist/Engineering Aide at Arete. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our full-time Scientists/Engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with a variety of programming tasks, including integration and test support.
  • Apply knowledge obtained to solve routine problems and develop innovative solutions.
  • Develop and revise program code, prepare documentation, and conduct program tests.
  • Research, design, develop, and verify signal and image collection systems.
  • Develop and implement methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze diverse data sets.
Requirements
  • Enrolled in a bachelor's or higher in physical sciences, computer science, data science, or mathematics.
  • Experience with scientific programming in Python, C, C++ or similar languages.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and collaborate on small teams.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
