Job Summary

The Clinical Training Specialist will be responsible for the ongoing clinical supervision and training of Behavior Intervention Specialists and direct care staff. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and implementing evidence-based training curricula and providing guidance on appropriate techniques and approaches to meet the level of care planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement training curricula to teach methodologies and strategies that promote Person Centered Planning practices.
  • Provide guidance on techniques and approaches to ensure goals are appropriate, implemented, and measurable.
  • Collaborate with clinical supervisory staff to develop measurable goals using evidence-based practices.
  • Model appropriate techniques related to the implementation of treatment plans, life plans, and goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Understanding of individual and population-based behavioral planning.
  • Knowledge and foundation in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of professional experience working with people with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
  • Evidence-based training curriculum experience.
  • Valid driver's license highly preferred (travel required to different boroughs).
