Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electronic Systems Specialist to join our team at SEPTA. As a key member of our City Transit Division, you will play a critical role in maintaining the reliability and efficiency of our rail vehicle electronic systems.

About the Role:

  • Maintain, calibrate, and repair rail vehicle electronic printed circuit boards and subsystems.
  • Assist the engineering department with electrical/electronic projects and provide technical support to all rail locations.
  • Design and fabricate diagnostic test equipment for printed circuit boards.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years of electronic technical school, associate degree in electronics or military electronics-technical training.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Special knowledge and training in handling static-sensitive devices, interpreting electrical and electronic schematics, and using complex electronic measuring instruments.
