Diesel Mechanic Technician

Associated Wholesale Grocers is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, as well as troubleshooting and diagnosing complex issues.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
- Diagnose and repair complex issues with diesel engines, including problems with fuel systems, cooling systems, and electrical systems.
- Use diagnostic equipment, such as multimeters and scan tools, to identify and repair problems.
- Work with a variety of tools and equipment, including lifts, hoists, and welding equipment.
- Collaborate with other technicians and mechanics to complete complex repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Certification in brake repair and air conditioning repair.
- Current CDL license a plus, but not required.
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex issues with diesel engines.
- Strong knowledge of machines and tools for making repairs and regular maintenance on trucks, cars, and vans.
- Excellent time management, situational management, attention to detail, and immediate follow-through.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds numerous times and up to 100 pounds on occasion.
