POSITION TITLE: Landscape Maintenance Account Manager

EXEMPT STATUS: Yes

REPORTING TO: Regional Manager

WORKING DAYS: Monday - Friday

OVERVIEW: The Landscape Maintenance Account Manager is responsible for ensuring that all projects are executed with precision and care. This role involves timely completion of all punch list items in collaboration with Crew Supervisors, Staff, and Irrigation Technicians. The Account Manager supports the Regional Manager in achieving the established goals for each property.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage maintenance accounts, ensuring completion of punch lists, service requests, and conducting site evaluations.
  • Oversee Crew Supervisors, Staff, and Irrigation Technicians to ensure adherence to maintenance specifications, including grass care, weed control, trimming, and safety protocols.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
  • Maintain client satisfaction and uphold maintenance standards.
  • Train and mentor Crew Supervisors, Staff, and Irrigation Technicians in alignment with company values.
  • Submit payroll, invoicing, and proposals for minor items punctually.
  • Prepare monthly reports on equipment and tool inventories.
  • Conduct monthly vehicle reports.
  • Participate in the hiring, training, and performance management of employees; address complaints and resolve issues effectively.

EXPECTATIONS:
  • Ensure accounts and staff operate safely, efficiently, and in line with profit objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or GED; at least three years of relevant experience as an Account Manager or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY:
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required; bilingual skills in English and Spanish are preferred.

MATH SKILLS:
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations and interpret data in various formats.

REASONING ABILITY:
  • Ability to apply common sense to follow instructions and solve problems in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATIONS:
  • Valid California driver's license and a California state Pest Control Applicator's License.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to handle objects; must be able to lift and move weights up to 50 pounds.
