SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST

We are in search of a highly qualified and seasoned Business Analyst to take on a pivotal role within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in software development and project oversight, with a proven track record of collaborating with government entities. The successful individual will be tasked with steering and managing software development initiatives from inception to completion, employing agile methodologies to guarantee effective and timely outcomes.

This full-time role offers the flexibility of remote work, with minimal travel requirements to client sites.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the complete project lifecycle, managing all facets of software development initiatives, including scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Engage with project stakeholders and product owners to ensure alignment of development objectives with broader business goals.
  • Apply agile methodologies, ensuring all team members are well-versed and compliant with these practices.
  • Plan, coordinate, and direct development activities, including resource management, project scheduling, and risk assessment.
  • Communicate project progress, challenges, and risks to stakeholders and upper management.
  • Ensure that project outputs meet established quality standards and are delivered punctually.
  • Foster and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and product owners, including clients, contractors, and team members.
  • Provide strategic direction to software developers and product stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Analyze and articulate product/project requirements based on client feedback and priorities.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Education and Certification

  • Bachelor's degree in Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • PMP or Agile certification is advantageous.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in IT project management.
  • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and experience leading projects utilizing these frameworks.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
  • Capability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as necessary.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience collaborating with government agencies and familiarity with their operational processes.
  • Knowledge of commercial project management tools or specific software relevant to government projects.

Clearance Requirements

  • Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance; an active Secret clearance is preferred.
