Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist 3 to join our team at the University of Miami/UHealth System. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing complex procedures in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise scheduling and patient flow for interdepartmental procedures.
  • Perform diagnostic imaging studies under the direction of a radiologist.
  • Assist with the education and training of new physicians and MRI technologists.
  • Participate in developing new protocols and imaging techniques.
  • Monitor charging of procedures and supplies daily.
  • Ensure orders are accurate and notify leaders of discrepancies.
  • Perform complex tasks associated with MRI scanners and equipment.
  • Integrate diagnostic results and adapt exams as necessary.
  • Adhere to MRI protocols and regulatory guidelines.
  • Assist with positioning patients and maintaining aseptic technique.
  • Evaluate MRI scans for technical quality and label images appropriately.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology/Diagnostic Imaging Program.
  • Valid State of Florida License as a General Radiographer.
  • ARRT registered with certification in primary modality.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
