Job Overview:

We are in search of a Senior Project Manager to spearhead a Security Vulnerability & Remediation initiative. This position entails collaboration with Security and Engineering teams to tackle compliance evaluations and cultivate enduring capabilities for vulnerability assessment and resolution. Candidates with a background in Zscaler or network security implementation will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee projects within the Workspace Services portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules using MS Project Server, including budget forecasting, accruals, invoice tracking, and resource time management.
  • Evaluate project timelines and forecasts to pinpoint critical paths and resource allocation challenges.
  • Work alongside the team to formulate and implement a comprehensive communication strategy, addressing internal and external communications, meetings, and documentation/reporting needs.
  • Collaborate with functional resource managers to guarantee effective allocation of project resources.
  • Adhere to established release management protocols to schedule and supervise code deployments.
  • Track the progress of deliverables and quality, proactively identifying and escalating risks and issues as necessary.
  • Engage with stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure project alignment with business objectives.
  • Maintain project documentation in accordance with established standards, including team agreements, status reports, meeting notes, risks, issues, and decisions.
  • Ensure adherence to delivery processes and standards.
Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:
  • Extensive experience in both traditional project management methodologies and agile practices.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing abilities.
  • Thorough understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project Server.
  • Expertise in formal risk management techniques.
  • Outstanding organizational and relationship management skills.
  • Experience in change management and collaboration with business stakeholders.
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of IT delivery management experience.
  • PMP certification or other formal project management training is preferred.
  • Experience with Zscaler or network security is preferred.
