Job Title: Data Center Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Administrator to join our team at Mingledorff's Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts for system outages or performance issues, coordinating with other teams as needed.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for major incidents to prevent recurrence.
  • Monitor resource usage and plan for capacity upgrades or optimizations.
  • Implement and maintain security policies, including access controls, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
  • Participate in change control board meetings to review and approve changes.
  • Generate regular performance and capacity reports for management review.
  • Identify opportunities for improving existing IT processes and workflows and propose enhancements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with data center infrastructure, including servers, networking equipment, storage systems, and related hardware and software.
  • Experience with monitoring and analyzing system logs.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Project management, customer service, and organizational skills.
  • Leadership, conflict resolution, and advanced communication skills.
  • Virtualization: VMWare ESXi and Nutanix AHV experience required.
  • Hyperconverged Infrastructure experience required.
  • Experience with Server Operator Systems: Microsoft Windows Server and Linux.
  • Experience with network management and monitoring tools.
  • Experience with AD Management, Exchange Management, and Office 365.
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
  • Possess a satisfactory driving record as determined by company driver policies.
Travel Requirement:
  • 10% travel to branches and other operating companies requiring some overnight stay, travel to industry-related conferences and training requiring some extended stay.
