Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Administrative and Accounting Associate to join our team at Career Personnel. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative and accounting support to our clients in the Montgomery and Birmingham areas.Key Responsibilities
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records
  • Assist with processing invoices, payments, and expense reports
  • Prepare and maintain various financial reports
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
  • Support the accounting team in month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Handle general accounting tasks such as journal entries, debits, and credits
  • Utilize Sage/Timberline software
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Familiarity with Sage and Timberline is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling data
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles
Benefits

Competitive hourly rate of $25.00, depending on experience

Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm (option to work less hours available)
