We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solar Project Development Engineer to join our team at Korsail Energy. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of our solar and storage projects from initial feasibility studies through to commercial operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of greenfield solar and storage projects from initial feasibility studies to commercial operation.
  • Manage the design and construction of energy projects, including electrical collection system designs and electrical grid interconnections.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables meet technical and commercial requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with utility companies, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with utility standards and electrical codes.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in utility scale solar project development, with a focus on electrical engineering and project management.
  • Advanced degree in electrical engineering, civil engineering, or a related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to write technical reports and proposals.
  • Strong interpersonal and project planning skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with owner's engineering activities during renewable energy project execution is a plus.
