Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Technician to join our team at Dean's Professional Services. As a Phlebotomy Technician, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients and preparing them for lab testing. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic and patient-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect blood samples from patients for medical testing or donation.
  • Ensure accurate and safe blood collection procedures.
  • Label and store blood samples for further analysis.
  • Verify patient information before drawing blood.
  • Assemble and maintain equipment for blood collection.
  • Work under the direction of the area supervisor to ensure daily activities are completed accurately and on time.
  • Maintain a safe and professional environment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent – Required.
  • Phlebotomy Certification – Preferred
  • Minimum 6 months of experience – Required
  • One (+) years of phlebotomy experience – Preferred
  • Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training – Preferred
  • Customer service in a retail or service environment - Preferred
  • Keyboard/data entry experience – Required
