About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer/Project Manager to join our team at Huitt-Zollars. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and designing a wide range of land development projects and public works projects for various industrial, commercial, and residential development projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate project activities, including initial project research, plan production, and construction administration.
  • Lead a team of engineers and drafters, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Conduct site visits and document findings, ensuring accurate and complete project records.
  • Prepare and present project reports, proposals, and other documentation as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on project management.
  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Civil3D.
