Job Title: Ophthalmic Sales Representative

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Ophthalmic Sales Representative to join our commercial team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs) in the ophthalmology space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute business plans to drive sales growth and market share in the assigned territory.
  • Provide educational and scientific support to HCPs, enhancing their knowledge and confidence in identifying treatment gaps in ophthalmic diseases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of commercial strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform sales strategies.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets, adhering to company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical sales experience, preferably in ophthalmology or a related therapeutic area.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare institutions, commercial managed care, and eye care/ophthalmology.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel domestically as necessary, with occasional overnight stays.
