Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team. As a Special Education Teacher, you will work with students who require mild/moderate or moderate/severe support, and you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized education plans to meet their unique needs. Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized education plans for students with mild/moderate or moderate/severe support needs
- Provide instruction and support to students in a variety of settings, including classrooms and small group settings
- Collaborate with general education teachers and other support staff to ensure a comprehensive and inclusive educational experience
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to keep them informed of their child's progress
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in special education
To be considered for this position, you must have a valid Education Specialist Instruction Credential - Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe (Extensive Support Needs) and a strong commitment to working with students with diverse needs. We also require a letter of introduction, current resume, and three letters of recommendation. Please note that placement may include both a Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe (Extensive Support Needs) setting, dependent on credential authorization.
