Embark Recruiting Solutions is partnering with a prominent construction organization seeking to onboard Junior Project Engineers on a full-time basis.


Role Overview:


Junior Project Engineers collaborate with seasoned Project Management and Field Supervision teams, contributing to the overall safety, guidance, completion, and financial success of construction initiatives from initial budgeting through to project conclusion.

Junior Project Engineers are anticipated to engage with team members across all tiers of Project Management and Field Supervision to set operational priorities and guarantee a high-quality project outcome.

They are also expected to cultivate and sustain positive and effective working relationships with both internal and external members of the Project Team and associated departments.


Key Responsibilities:
Carry out the following tasks with support and guidance from a Project Manager:

• Ensure client satisfaction by recognizing and surpassing client expectations

• Estimate, value engineer, and formulate project budgets

• Oversee the subcontractor bidding process, including the management, distribution, and tracking of all project bidding documentation

• Employ software applications and templates to manage, distribute, and monitor all project documentation

• Negotiate subcontractor and material procurement; develop and finalize subcontracts.

• Plan and schedule project timelines

• Supervise ongoing jobs, including subcontractor coordination, conflict resolution, documentation, and ensuring quality and safety on every site

• Manage project expenses through continuous assessment of labor, materials, and equipment; consistently forecast and analyze construction costs, risks, and profits until project completion

• Conduct project closeout procedures

Position Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred

• Previous Co-Op / Internship experience in the construction sector preferred

• Ability to establish and maintain robust working relationships

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Self-driven with the capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

• Detail-oriented approach
