Job Description- Manage physical security projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and within budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, install, and evolve physical security systems and programs.
- Develop and implement Threat Assessments and AWS Physical Security Standards to ensure the proper security mitigations are selected and implemented.
- Work closely with local security teams to provide technical knowledge and resources necessary to meet ongoing physical security mission requirements.
- Project Management: Oversee physical security system installations related to new construction, expansion, and retrofit projects.
- Physical Security Project Lifecycle Management: Prepare bid packages, specifications, drawings, code compliance, vendor management, budget, change orders, and close-out documentation.
- Emerging Technologies: Maintain contemporary knowledge of emerging physical security technologies to assess their applicability within the AWS physical security program.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Provide SME support for leadership to make strategic decisions regarding technology and procedure.
- Budget Management: Effectively manage multi-million dollar budgets for infrastructure projects and initiatives.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors for on-boarding, RFQ, bid, contract, QA/QC, and support processes.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; BA/BS degree in related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in physical security project management and 5+ years of experience in Security Operations experience in technology, manufacturing, or similar industries.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals regarding physical security standards and system designs.
We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401(k) matching and paid time off.
