Data Center Operations and Maintenance Professional

We are seeking an experienced Data Center Operations and Maintenance Professional to join our team at Amazon. This role will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data centers, including electrical and mechanical equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and operate critical infrastructure systems, including standby diesel generators and related fuel systems.
- Perform daily building rounds to monitor and record information from electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment.
- Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Management System (EPMS).
- Assist in troubleshooting of facility and rack-level events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLA).
- Perform PM, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Technical writing to support change management program.
- Monitor daily work requests and manage to resolution, and execute projects from conception to completion.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 2+ years of experience with electrical or mechanical, HVAC, fire system experience in a mission-critical infrastructure or equivalent experience in a relevant industry.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products (including Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
- High school or equivalent diploma.
